A warm, funny, contemporary love story with a twist by Lucy Gannon.  

Recently widowed Rose, arrives in a small village in bleak winter frost to try to start a new life. The first person she meets is retired policeman Keith, who lives at Winterspite cottage on the ridge. 

Rose tries not to think she's in a psychological thriller with a messy end. And then she starts receiving poems. Really, really terrible poems. They'd be very funny, if they weren't quite so terrible - and they're from Keith.
